GSR478E is a ERF LV tractor unit new to Strathmore Springs Forfar. After a life in haulage she was converted to a recovery vehicle in the early 80s. Working in that industry until the mid nineties then into preservation, taking part in many road runs over the years including the London to Brighton road run on several occasions.

SYH 290. Built 1956, last year they were built. Last used officially for Fire Service strike 2002. Bought 24th June 2017 in Cumbernauld, transported to Forfar, coming to Dundee a year later. Reconditioned over the past two year, she has a full kit of equipment. 6cyl., 4.9 litre Engine, 8 to 10 mpg

Bedford/Mountain Range Ltd. OSL 372Y is unique in being the first Full-Size appliance built by Mountain Range Ltd. Purchased new in 1983 by Glaxochem Ltd of Montrose, where she remained until 1999 when she went into preservation. When built she incorporated modern features and was exhibited on Mountain Range’s stand at the 1983 UK International Fire Exhibition

Ldv new to highland and island fire brigade and fitted out in their own workshops Currently sourcing all the parts and equipment to get it back to operational spec. Trailer was used by Longannet power station found on a farm near Ingliston by Edinburgh lurking in the brambles Godiva pump powered by a ford engine restored over 2019. Ldv s never towed a trailer pump theirs was carried on board the vehicle.

Built in 1971 This ERF has a 120 Gardner engine and a David Brown gearbox. It was bought from DC Thomson in 2009 Making us only the second owner. It was the last A series owned by dc Thomson’s and was used to haul dandy’s and beanos throughout the country.
