TCCC were formed in 1989 after a chance meeting at a rally between Dave Nicoll still our Events Secretary and Dave Smith who became our first Chairman. A meeting was quickly organised, the name was chosen and the club was formed with Alan Borthwick also still a member as Secretary. The club has grown from those small beginnings and currently has around 150 members from all parts of Tayside and beyond with a very wide range of classic cars. The club attends classic car shows all over Scotland, holds monthly meetings and breakfast meetings during the winter season. We also organise our own show which is held at Errol every June.

G544 WNA Ford Sierra Cosworth
This Ford Sierra Sapphire Cosworth 4×4 is a 1990 model which I have owned for 9 years. It has black leather interior, stage one chip (fitted when car was new) and larger stainless steel exhaust.
I always hankered after one of these, exactly the same spec as this one, and when I saw this car for sale down in Rugby, went down by train, viewed the car and drove it home. It was one of the most enjoyable journeys I have had.
